Biography

In 1875, a young Englishman started a monument business called John H. Bott & Sons... and that was the beginning of a family craft that still serves families who are seeking the finest in memorialization.

Five generations later, Mark H. Bott Company continues to make a difference in the details and personalization of each memorial.

There are 150 Certified Memorialist (CM) in North America and Canada: David, Brian, Wendy and Drew have each earned the CM designation.  The American Institute of Commemorative Art (AICA) has invited but 75 individuals in North America and Canada to be members of their prestigious monument art organization: David Bott and Mark H. Bott Company are one of these.  David Bott served as National president of Monument Builders of North America (MBNA) - the largest monument builders organization in the world, of which Mark H. Bott Company has been an active member since 1972.  Mark H. Bott Company is the only monument company from Ogden to be a member of each of these organizations.
